Start your journey in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies by connecting with your faculty, program, and community. Orientation is designed to help you learn about your degree, meet peers and professors, and discover the many opportunities available to enhance your university experience. While Orientation is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended.
Orientation Day Schedule
10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. | Arrival & Registration

11:00 – 11:25 a.m. | Faculty Welcome Session
Learn about LA&PS, key supports, and what to expect in your first year.
11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Program Connection Sessions
Meet faculty members, academic advisors, staff, and current students in your program.
1:00 – 3:30 p.m. | Campus Resources Fair & Lunch
Head to the Vari Hall and college spaces to explore student services, clubs, and councils while enjoying a light lunch. Learn more about academic programs and certificates you can pair with your chosen major.
3:30 p.m. | End of Orientation
